KR Guitars was established in 2005.

Although I had built instruments in the past, I had neither thought or tried to build as a vocation.  After crafting the Ursa Proto in 2005, reviews were very positive and I was urged to do so.

When I am not building guitars I currently have a day ‘gig’ with Mesa Boogie.  I’ve been with them now for 17 years.

We are a one man shop and I’ll spend 200+ hours with each instrument from start to finish.
